Annual collection

IWGIA's annual collection 2011/2012 starts on the International Human Rights Day (December 10, 2011). This year, we use the occasion of the annual collection to bring awareness to the human rights situation of indigenous peoples around the world, which is documented every year in our yearbook, "The Indigenous World".

Send a book to an indigenous organization

For the amount of 10 EURO you can make sure that an indigenous organization receives a paper copy of “The Indigenous World”. All donated funds will be used exclusively for covering international postage costs.

IWGIA's comprehensive yearbook contains more than 70 country reports and articles about the most relevant processes for the promotion and protection of indigenous peoples’ rights.

The yearbook is an indispensable and renowned tool for indigenous activists, not least for indigenous peoples' organizations, who use it for raising awareness and for lobbying local and national authorities.

Distributing the yearbook is extremely costly and difficult to get covered by our project funds. The yearbook is available for free download from our website, but we know that the printed version is very valued and used by our indigenous partners, who often operate in remote areas with very limited internet access.

We therefore kindly ask for your contribution to make it possible for us to maintain the worldwide distribution of "The Indigenous World".

Please donate 10.00 Euros to ensure that one more indigenous organization will receive a copy of the book.

Your generosity will be highly appreciated!
