IWGIA's Annual Collection starts on the International Human Rights Day
December 10, 2007
IWGIA's annual collection 2007-2008 started on the International Human Rights Day, Monday December 10. This year, we use the occasion of the annual collection to celebrate the fact that indigenous peoples, who suffer some of the worst forms of human rights abuses known, got their own new human rights instrument, when the UN General Assembly in September 2007 adopted the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
We kindly ask for your contribution to our continued work in support of indigenous organizations' human rights advocacy. Send your contribution to our account in BG Bank: 9570-1661 9639 (transfers from DK). If you live abroad, use either IBAN DK56 3000 0016 6196 39 or SWIFT-BIC code: DABADKKK 9570-1661 9639.
