About IWGIA's publication
Over the past 35 years, IWGIA has published one of the most comprehensive collections of documentation and reflection on indigenous peoples' struggle for survival and recognition. IWGIA continues to be at the forefront of reflecting the most significant issues of concern to indigenous peoples. IWGIA's publications are published on a non-profit basis.

IWGIA publishes mainly in English and Spanish but its documentation also includes books in French, Kiswahili (East Africa), Tagalok, Ilokano, Bisaya (Philippines), Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Russian, Portuguese, Hindi and Swedish, as well as 13 educational booklets in Danish.
IWGIA publishes a quarterly journal Indigenous Affairs and a yearbook The Indigenous World both in English and in Spanish (Asuntos Indigenas and El Mundo Indigena). Besides that IWGIA publishes books, handbooks and reports, where the books has the main priority.
IWGIA's publications are written by indigenous and non-indigenous experts. Readers of IWGIA's publications are experts, activists and researchers seeking to be informed and updated on the developments and challenges facing the indigenous peoples of the world.
The publications are on culture, society, history, international law and human rights. Concrete themes that have been covered in recent publications include: self-determination, territorial rights, regional human rights mechanisms, political participation and racism.
IWGIA's books are distributed worldwide by IWGIA and by professional distributors in North America, the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
How to order and pay for publications? All publications are available by subscription or can be purchased individually. You just go to the individual publication on the website for detailed information and send us an email including the title, the ISBN no where available, and information about where to send the publications. Then we will send to the provided address the purchased book(s) along with an invoice.
You can pay either by creditcard or by cheque. Payment by creditcard: Mastercard/Visa or Eurocard - indicate name of cardholder, number and expiry date. Payment by cheque: payable only in US$ or DKK to IWGIA. Bank: Sydbank: 7031 109441-4, swiftcode:sybkd22.

If you order books individually, you don't have to pay before you have recieved the books. It is also posible to subscribe to our publications.
