Casa de la Mujer is a Bolivian association seeking to improve women’s quality of life by promoting gender equality through a feminist political viewpoint. Its aim is to influence social structures from the experience of its own members so that all women are able to exercise their rights fully and live a life free from violence.

The organisation was established in May 1990 and, since then, it has been implementing a Comprehensive Gender Training and Education Plan for women in Santa Cruz department, in cooperation with civil society organisations and movements, in order to achieve full exercise of women’s rights and gender equality within the Plurinational State.
