PINGOs Forum is a membership organization with more than 53 member CSOs of pastoralists and hunter-gatherers.

PINGOs Forum was established back in 1994 with the objective of protecting and enhancing the rights of the indigenous pastoralist and hunter-gatherer communities of Tanzania for the achievement of economic, social, cultural and political development through policy advocacy and engagement.

Through a Human Rights Based Approach, PINGO’s Forum endeavours to amplify the voices and promote the interest of pastoralists and hunter-gatherers by advocating for positive change through Advocacy on good governance and human rights; gender justices; capacity building; networking and working on crosscutting Issues of HIV/AIDS and climate change and other issues that affect the livelihood sustainability of the pastoralists and hunter gathers wherever they are in Tanzania.
