Non-timber Forest Products Exchange Programme for South and Southeast Asia (NTFP-EP) is a regional collaborative network organization that was started in 1998 by an informal pool of practitioners in community based resources management, forest access rights and tenure rights and non-timber forest products development.
NTFP-EP collaborates with over 60 non-governmental and community based organizations working with forest-based and indigenous communities to strengthen their capacity in the sustainable management of natural resources in the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia. NTFP-EP specifically works on the following themes: community conservation, tenure security, food and health security and livelihood and enterprise development. It was formalized as an organization in 2003.
