Miscellaneous Information

Miscellaneous Information:

The Chittagong Hill Tracts Citizen’s Committee (CHT-CC) is a movement of concerned citizens working for the establishment of indigenous people’s rights and peace in the CHT region of Bangladesh. The CHT-CC was formed in April 2010 after extensive discussions among a group of concerned citizens for unified and intensified efforts in favour of full implementation of the CHT Accord.

The objectives of the CHT-CC are to influence those who are responsible for the execution of policies so that they implement the 1997 CHT Accord; to engage CBOs (and others) in building peoples ownership of the CHT Accord and to contribute to lasting peace in the country through implementation of the CHT Accord.
